When at Dunnet Head on the Winter Solstice last December (6 hrs, 13 minutes between sunrise and sunset) I realized I had only one more extreme point to visit to have been the full compass of Scotland’s farthest points.
Mull of Galloway, the farthest south
And the farthest north
Now I’ve completed the set with a trip up the road to Peterhead.
Most people think the lighthouse is the most easterly spot but the security people who allowed me into a restricted area to take some pics and others all assured me the wall is it.
