A trip on the tube, then train and a beautiful day at Windsor Castle overlooking the playing fields of Eton. The guide informed me that in the summer a 10,000 visitor day is not unusual! I’m here with maybe 200. Unfortunately no interior photos allowed as it is still the Queens residence, but Google will provide
Stopped for a quenching @ The George (there were 6 George named pubs so they are quite ubiquitous) tried a sampler, spoke to a couple lads who voted Leave and now want to Remain. The Windsor/Eton brewer was close so I visited that one too. The sign shows that some in this part of Britain have still not bought off on British exceptionalism.
