It was supposed to be Glencoe but the bus driver refused to stop as it wasn’t a scheduled stop. Despite the harassment from a couple of passengers, he plowed on to the Visitor’s center. There I was told the foot bridge was out so I was looking forward to a 10 mile trip in the rain. Hopping a bus to Ft W made more sense. Having not planned to see the town, I simple went for a walk-about to get a general overview. I liked it. The location is sort of centralish to all of Scotland, and the scenery is brilliant. I also got my first test of Macsween’s haggis at The Grog & Gruel. Out of this world, served with a Drambuie cream sauce and a number of 1/2 pints of varied brews.
