Plockton. You might already know of it if you have ever seen the Wickerman (1972) with Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee and Britt Ekland (Oh my!) or the TV show Hamish McBeth with Robert Carlyle shown from 1995 to 97.
I’m sure that anyone who thinks of a wee Scottish Highland village forms an image in their mind not unlike what Plockton actually looks like. Plockton has become my favorite place in Scotland. No the UK. No, maybe the world. A quaint, picturesque classic village. Great harbour, Mild weather (this is the Highlands remember) and very friendly people. Lots to explore and learn. I can not wait to get back.
