This museum/gallery is a must see. Even the outside is mind-blowing.
I walked in to an organ recital going on in the main entranceway
Mandatory stuffed animals, dinos etc
And some of Charles Rennie Macintosh’s iconic work. Was he a tall man? I ask since so many of his chairs are high backed.
This set is from the Willow Tea room collection designed from 1904.
Sophie Cave’s installation “Floating Heads” focuses on the theme of Expression
And famous paintings like:
Massacre at Glen Coe by J Hamilton
Last of the Clan by Thomas Faed
Balmoral, Autumn by J D Adam
North Western of Ben Lomond by J Knox
Alexander Reid by some guy named van Gogh
View of Ventimiglia by Monet
Just a sampling of what you’ll see in this renovated masterpiece of a museum
