I got off the bus from Ft. William in Glenfinnan where an 1815 monument commemorates the spot Bonnie Prince Charlie gathered his troops in 1745 in an attempt to reclaim the throne. When I get to Colloden sometime I’ll see how that all worked out.
Fans of Harry Potter will recall the the viaduct used by the Hogwarts Express.
