The verdant Museums Quarter borders the River Hull, where the 1960s Arctic Corsair trawler offers tours of its galley and wheelhouse. Kids head to tram rides at the Streetlife Museum and the model woolly mammoth at the Hull and East Riding Museum. Wilberforce House features exhibits on slavery and abolition, while the Mandela Garden offers visitors a tranquil respite. Pubs serving Yorkshire ale dot cobbled streets.
I continue along the river to the seafront. Massive locks protect the city
The huge Deep Sea aquarium will have to await a return visit as there was too much to see on the hoof.
My loop brought be back to the marina near the Queen Vic monument
The Spurn Lightship sat 4 miles outside Hull for nearly 50 years

Terribly convenient having a few museums all near each other, but first a nosh. A Hull Pattie not to be confused for a Cornish Pasty. Potato with sage and onion. Deep fried I batter. £1. Seriously filling. And good. Pigeon gets zip
Black and white or color ? Although the second most bombed city in England in WWII the bits near the cathedral, since like Salisbury it was used for flight navigation, much of the old Town is preserved. 15c/62f!
One of the museums in the Quarter is the Hull and East Riding which addresses the history of Hull and houses some great Roman mosaics
Oddly I found no images of Madiba in the Nelson Mandela Peace Garden, only serenity & Gandhi.
