There is always a music session on Thursdays year round and during the summer they add one on Tuesday. I did not expect there to be one in October but it has been a very busy season Kenny told me, so they want to keep us punters happy. So when I saw the sign outside the pub door a wee smile crept over my mug.
A break in the light rain had me headed to the other pier to look for otters but I wasn’t hopeful as the tide was high.
There will be a town meeting in a few days to see in the 15 year ban on letting hairy coos wander the streets once again. Plus side? They are pretty cool. Down side? Cow pies on the sidewalk and pointy horns on the big fellas. My guess is they will return.
Picture perfect.
A few of the more frequent members of the 5 O’Clock Gang.
And a plate of haggis with clapshot which is a mashed potato and turnip mix. The food at the Plockton Inn, even the plain stuff is better than most other spots. They serve the best fish and chips too. Heavy on the fish and light on the delicate batter.
So, now it’s time for some tunes!
A couple forming the group LanderMason sat in.
