Tenby

This part of Britain is so unprotected from the sea that waves orignating off Brazil smack ashore here.  The very protected harbor of Tenby was developed in the 1200’s.  It is a walled city that has walls dating to the the 13th century surrounding a very nice shopping area and great beaches. Cool is a good word.

Lifeboats are very important on an island surrounded by angry seas.  This was the old one, too small for current lifeboats and now a private residence.

When this boat is launched down the ramp it hits the water at full throttle as anything less could be trouble in rough seas.
