To Nairn then back via Forres

Having stayed here in the past I just wanted a short revisit.

I saw a museum when I got off the bus in Forres but it was closed due to lack of funding as the woman in City Hall informed me.  So naturally when I spied the office of Wee Dougie 3Jobs, I had to go in and ask the same question. The poor staffer had nothing.  He fumbled an excuse or two and clearly didn’t like me suggesting that his boss was somewhat to blame too.  I can see a museum closed for the season but not due to lack of local government funding

Beaver I guess

Those are crocus.  It’s November.  They should be blooming in March or April.  It has been record warm here

This was a pleasant surprise.  Nothing in my light research of the area had indicated this possibly Pictish stone monument over 1000 years old. The Sueno’s Stone.
