Prague Castle & St Vitas Cathedral

by WBlackwell on December 18, 2017

This is a typical street on Praha.  Old and ornamented

The castle isn’t really a castle like the military ones in the UK. it seems more like a residential and administrative complex with a huge church although there outer walls are well placed and equipped for defense.Dating from the 9th century it is currently the official office of the President of the Czech Republic.  I only washable to take in 3/4 of the place it is so vast.

St. Vitas Cathedral is so very Gothic.

This was a medical meeting place.

And this corridor was originally the interior of the exterior walls with archer positions on outside walls

Even manhole covers were cool.
