I found divers sculptures around the city on my inaugural walk
Urgull means ‘pride’ in Basque and is the name of the 123 m hill at the city’s edge. It had been used as a defensive position since the 12th century and when I noticed this 36′ statue of Jesus on the top of it I decided to see what his views were.
Strongly held views, apparently.
ALDERDI EDER GARDENS … They have a variety of floral layouts lined by the trees that identify most with the city, the tamarinds.
This former casino is now the San Sebastian City Hall
There is a small naval museum near the base of Urgull and this poster naturally piqued my curiosity.
